This Privacy Notice explains how personal information is collected, used and protected when you visit talkwithkaspars.com, contact me, book a conversation or use the services offered through Talk with Kaspars.

2. Information I may collect
Depending on how you interact with the website and service, I may collect:

Your chosen appointment time and booking details
Communications relating to your booking or enquiry
Basic technical information needed for the website to operate securely, such as IP address, browser type and server logs
Payment and transaction information when you book a paid session
When payments are enabled, payment details will be entered directly into Stripe. I may receive confirmation of your payment and limited transaction information, but I will not receive or store your complete card details.
Please only provide information that you feel comfortable sharing.
3. Information shared during conversations
You decide what you wish to discuss during a listening session.
I do not record sessions and do not create detailed notes or written accounts of what you share. I may retain only the limited administrative information necessary to manage your booking, communicate with you and provide the service.
Because conversations are personal, you may choose to share information about your feelings, health, relationships, beliefs or other sensitive aspects of your life. This information is used only to provide the listening space you requested and is not used for advertising or profiling.
4. How your information is used
Your information may be used to:
Respond to questions or messages
Arrange, confirm and manage appointments
Send booking confirmations and reminders
Provide online listening sessions through Google Meet
Process payments and refunds when paid bookings are enabled
Maintain necessary financial and administrative records
Protect the website and prevent misuse or fraudulent activity
Meet legal, tax or regulatory obligations
Establish, exercise or defend legal claims where necessary
Your information is not used for automated decision-making or profiling.
5. Legal bases for processing
Under applicable data-protection law, personal information must be processed on a recognised legal basis. Depending on the situation, I may rely on:
Contract: when processing information is necessary to arrange or provide a session you have requested
Steps before entering into a contract: when answering questions or arranging an introductory conversation
Legal obligation: when information must be retained for accounting, tax or other legal purposes
Legitimate interests: for ordinary administration, communication, website security, fraud prevention and the responsible operation of the service
Consent: where consent is specifically requested or where it is appropriate for information you voluntarily choose to provide
You may withdraw your consent at any time where processing is based on consent. This will not affect processing that took place before consent was withdrawn.
6. Services that may process information
I use carefully selected service providers to operate the website, manage bookings, communicate and process payments.
Hostinger
The website is created and hosted using Hostinger. Hostinger may process technical information, server logs and information submitted through website forms where applicable.

Google Workspace, Google Calendar and Google Meet
Google Workspace is used for business email and communication. Google Calendar is used to manage appointments, and sessions take place privately online through Google Meet.
Google may process your name, email address, booking information, meeting details and technical information required to provide these services.
Sessions are not recorded by me.

Stripe
When paid bookings are enabled, payments will be processed securely through Stripe. Google Calendar’s paid-appointment system uses Stripe to complete the booking and payment process.
Stripe may collect and process:
Payment method and card information
Name, email address and billing details
Transaction information
Device and technical information
Information used for security and fraud prevention
I will receive confirmation of the payment and limited transaction details needed to manage your booking, issue any appropriate refund and maintain financial records. I will not receive or store your complete card details.
Stripe processes information in accordance with its own Privacy Policy:

Stripe is included here in preparation for paid bookings. Until paid bookings are activated, no payment information is collected through this website.
7. Sharing your information
I do not sell, rent or trade your personal information.
Information may be shared only:
With service providers necessary to operate the website, bookings, communications or payments
When required by law, regulation or a valid request from a competent authority
When reasonably necessary to protect someone from a serious and immediate risk of harm
When necessary to establish, exercise or defend legal rights
Service providers receive only the information necessary for their role and process it under their own legal and security obligations.
8. International data transfers
Some service providers, including Google, Hostinger and Stripe, may process information in countries outside the European Economic Area.
Where required, these providers use recognised safeguards for international transfers, such as adequacy decisions or Standard Contractual Clauses approved under European data-protection law.

9. How long information is kept
Personal information is kept only for as long as reasonably necessary for the purpose for which it was collected.
Generally:
Unresolved enquiries and related correspondence may be retained while the enquiry remains active
Booking and service-related information may be retained for administration, continuity and the handling of possible questions or disputes
Unnecessary personal correspondence may be deleted when it is no longer reasonably required
Payment, transaction, invoice and accounting records may be retained for the period required by applicable tax, accounting and legal obligations
Stripe retains information according to its own legal obligations and retention practices
Technical and security logs are retained according to the practices of the relevant website and technology providers
I do not retain recordings or detailed notes of listening sessions because these are not created.
10. Cookies and website information
This website may use cookies or similar technologies that are necessary for its operation, security and basic functionality.
I do not currently use Google Analytics, Meta Pixel or similar advertising or behavioural-tracking tools.
If analytics, advertising cookies or comparable tracking technologies are introduced in the future, this Privacy Notice will be updated and any legally required consent choices will be provided before those tools are used.
11. Protecting your information
Reasonable administrative and technical measures are used to protect personal information from unauthorised access, loss, misuse or disclosure.
These measures include the use of reputable service providers, password-protected accounts and secure communication platforms. However, no internet-based service or method of electronic communication can be guaranteed to be completely secure.
Please avoid sending highly sensitive information through an ordinary contact form or unencrypted email where it is not necessary.

Depending on the law applicable to you, you may have the right to:
